Step 1: Cleaning
The key to maintaining a quality database is ensuring that you start with a clean database.  We put your information through a cleaning/matching process known as Entity Matching. With Entity Matching, you can take advantage of the same quality assurance process we’ve created to make our own database. D&B customers regularly utilize Entity Matching to assign a D-U-N-S® Number to business records representing entities with which D&B customers have relationships.

Entity Matching ensures that we match your customer records with our database of one and a half million businesses. During this process, a DUNS Number is assigned to an incoming record, and this ensures that we have unique, accurate and complete records in your database.

Step 2: Enriching  
The second step of the DUNSRight process enriches your data with D&B information. Our industry-leading database of one and a half million commercial businesses — with complete demographic, geographic and industry-specific information — empowers you to make smarter and more profitable decisions. We add collected data elements such as business address, industry classifications, revenue, employee size, and various other elements to your records to give you a more complete customer profile.

Step 3: Integrating
Once you’ve cleaned and enriched your data, the next step is to utilize these new insights across your organization by integrating your data into other Enterprise applications.

Through various data integration products and services, such as Purisma’s Master Data Management Solution, you can ensure that your cleaned data stays up to date and fresh. All you need to do is establish a direct live link to the D&B database or get the information through frequently sent electronic feeds.
